About the 15-HR Kids Yoga Teacher Training

 

The Flex & Flow 15-hour Virtual Kids Yoga Teacher Training prepares you to begin teaching yoga for children (ages walking-13) with confidence and competence. In this self-paced training, you will learn the foundational knowledge and skills for intelligently and creatively sharing the practice of yoga with kids. 

 

The primary focus of this training is to teach yoga to kids, and in the process you will also receive guidance on how to teach mindfulness, kindness, and compassion as well. 

 

Upon completion of this training, you will be prepared to teach yoga for kids in an informed, creative, and inspirational way!

Angela Ruggles

Angela has a passion for play and creativity that she brings to everything she does, especially her imaginative youth classes. She loves sharing yoga with kids (and their grown-ups) as a way to connect, laugh, and explore fun ways to move and breathe.

Angela is a 500-hour RYT, a 95-hour trauma-informed RCYT and has a background in museum education. She is a mama to twins who are experts at reminding her to take a deep breath (and in frog hops!)

Jamie King

As a wiggly child who turned to movement (dance, gymnastics, and diving) to a wiggly adult who loves yoga, She's just as well known for breaking out in song and dance, as she is for her big energy yoga classes - which is probably why kids just love her!  Jamie loves helping kids explore movement, dance, tumbling, and yoga.

 

Jamie is a co-founder of Flex & Flow, 500-Hour E-RYT, 95-hour trauma-informed RCYT, and 85-hour RPYT. She is also a mom to a handstand loving 4 year old, named Colby and his fur sister, Abbie.
